Inspiration all around you...

"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources," Albert Einstein. It's impossible to know where inspiration ends and when personal creation begins.  Humans are a sensory species.  If you keep your eyes and your mind open every day, there are untold opportunities for you to be influenced by the flurry of activity and visuals that surround us.  Even during your most boring run-of-the-mill day; if you really look, you'll see a new color or a new pattern or hear a new song.

Often, the people you think of as the most creative tend to be just a bit more open to the inspiration around them than most.  There's really no trick to it; as Einstein said, it's the spark that triggers fresh thought and new approaches to old problems or new challenges.

It's easy to get stuck in a rut and miss the ingenious muse that awaits you every day.  So this week, try staying more open to the founts of inspiration around you and enjoy your own version of creativity, whatever that may be.
